Micro-Mats hydroponic growing confetti is madefrom biodegradable wood fibers that are highly absorbent and have a very high water holding capacity. The confetti conforms to any container makeing it the perfect hydroponic grow medium for microgreens and wheatgrass in non-traditional containers. Micro Mat confetti from Handy Pantry are perfect for those looking to grow wheatgrass, barley grass, microgreens, or other plants, without the hassle of dealing with soil. 100% fully compostable. Micro Mat Confetti has a water holding capacity superior to most other hydroponic mediums which makes it more forgiving with respect to forgetting to check water. 1 Lb of confetti when wet with 3 lbs of water (approx 6 cups) will yeild approximately 6.5 quarts of grow medium. If used in stardard sized trays: 1 lb of confetti provide enough medium for a maximum of SIX 10x20 Trays, TWELVE 10x10 Trays and THIRTY THREE 4x4 tray inserts.
